GATHERING KNOWLEDGES

Book design in collaboration with Anna Laederach for gathering/situating knowledges, a publication developed within the annual theme of the BA Process Design program at HyperWerk (IXDM, FHNW Academy of Art and Design Basel). 2025.

The publication gathers texts, conversations, and research emerging from a year-long investigation into situated forms of knowledge and collective learning practices. Bringing together contributions from students, researchers, and invited guests, it reflects on how knowledge is produced, shared, and shaped through social, political, and ecological relations.

Developed as both a reader and an archive of an ongoing process, the book translates the project’s collaborative and interdisciplinary approach into an editorial format. The design emphasizes connections, multiplicity, and the coexistence of diverse perspectives and voices.

The publication features contributions by Anna Laederach, Matthias Böttger, Kenza Benabderrazik, Maciej Chmara (Chmara.Rosinke), Karin Harrasser, Wency Mendes, Kevin Okoth, Eva Weinmayr, Helen V. Pritchard, Jara Rocha, Femke Snelting, Vanessa Amoah Opoku, Anna Tsing, as well as researchers, students, and collaborators of HyperWerk.
